Class Times & Registration

Get a competitive advantage when you enroll in an ACT® Prep Class with Vilma Abrahamer. Located in Mequon, Wisconsin, I have been teaching ACT prep classes for over twenty years. Classes are small, between three and six students. Sessions are interactive with variety and discussion. No “one size fits all” lectures, no worksheets or tests taking up large blocks of class time.  All classes are customized for all participants.  If your student needs special accommodations, let me know..

EIGHT SESSION PREP covers English, Reading, Science and Math for the ACT. Students will learn to take this standardized test and maximize their individual and composite grades. Classes are a mix of instruction and student/instructor interaction. Individuals will need to practice concepts learned. Practice time necessary is similar to any academic course that is to be mastered. Cost of course is $840, due before the first class. There will be a minimum of three and maximum of 6 students per class .Each class will last one hour and fifteen minutes.Makeups will be available, but are not guaranteed to fit into students’ schedules.

40 Hour ACT PREP covers English, Reading, Science, Math and Writing for the ACT. Students will learn to take this standardized test and maximize their individual and composite grades. Classes are a mix of instruction and practice suited to individual need, focus and timeline. Cost of course is $3,400. Hours do not expire.

ACT Private Lessons cover timing, test taking strategies and a study plan suited to the individual.  Coverage of specific academic content is minimal with the main focus on reaching the student’s ACT goal. Remote tutoring is available via Zoom. Cost of private tutor lessons is $300/hour (16 hours minimum required).

CDC Covid restrictions and precautions are strictly adhered to during in-person lessons.

A good grade on the ACT is an advantage even at test optional schools because:
  • Colleges look at your grades if you submit them.  They notice if you do not. They are an advantage in a competitive collegiate climate.
  • Merit scholarships, regardless of income, are available and automatic for good ACT grades in many Colleges and Universities.
  • Freshman courses may be exempted based on individual ACT grades.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Based upon my 20+ years of experience, I recommend starting as early as 9th grade. This will give your student lots of time to work out the kinks and overcome anxiety.

REGISTRATION

Since my class sizes are so small, early registration is encouraged. Students will need to complete the online registration form in order to reserve their space.

* Missed sessions with 48 hour notice or due to illness may be made up at no charge.
