Based upon my 20+ years of experience, I recommend starting as early as 9th grade. This will give the student a lot of time to work out the kinks and overcome anxiety.

SkillsPrep Online Instruction ($300/hr)
SkillsPrep Instruction includes English, Reading, Science, Math and Writing for the ACT. This is not a rote memory class and it is not a subject review. It is standardized test specific. We are going to work through the strategies and tactics to solve ACT problems for each section of the test. Then, with guided practice you repeat, polish, refine and perfect to your chosen objective. Included in SkillsPrep Instruction is a workbook containing former ACT tests, and a condensed version of my book with tools to monitor and assess progress. Individual instruction, as well as practice time, is determined by your schedule.
